How the measures on this page are calculated
Text project
A project needs at least 200 English words of narrative text to enter the analyses. Whether the text is from the application or the report makes no difference; boilerplate and platform text do not count.
Metadata-only project
A project that takes no part in text analyses: its record (reference, type, year, coordinator) is stored, but its text is not analysed. The reasons for exclusion are given above with their counts.
Groups
All projects, families and action types. A family joins action types whose name or code changed between the two programme periods, by a reviewed mapping; an action type is the projects of a single code.
Build
Every number belongs to one corpus build. The collection, curation and Rule Set versions are recorded so that the same numbers can be reproduced from the same input; a build does not change once published.
